We are a small but nimble organization with a depth of experience that allows us to execute projects with creativity and pragmatism. Our network of consultants and specialists allow us to deliver a diverse portfolio of project types and a full suite of services. Most importantly, our success relies on maintaining an on-going dialogue with clients.

In music, the term “zusammen” refers to a directive for the group to start playing together. As architects often inspired by and working with with a diverse group of creative professionals, we know when to use that directive, and understand that collaboration with the full team of builders, designers, partners and owners is critical to the success of a project.

An architect may or may not be legally required depending on the type of project you are imagining. But if you are even just thinking about ways to improve your property or space, then an Architect can help. Our first step is typically an open conversation about your vision, goals, schedule and budget. If you think we are the right fit, we will kick-off a design process during which we will learn about you and the issues you seek to solve, propose some solutions, but also dream a little bit with some inspiring discussions and imagery.

DHARA GORADIA | PRINCIPAL/OWNER

Founder Dhara Goradia holds 15 years of experience working on a wide variety of project types within the architecture industry including residential and commercial. Her most memorable experiences have been shaped by her travels to several corners of the globe where the built environment is a direct result of the unique landscapes it occupies. Her work as an architect has also been shaped by 20 years of experience as a musician as she has sought out the powerful similarities making music has with the design process and has allowed the two disciplines to continually inform the each other. She continues to seek and understand the powerful relationships between music, architecture and nature and integrate it into practice.

Dhara holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Virginia and an Master of Architecture from the University of Washington. She is currently licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia and teaches undergraduate design studios at the University of Virginia School of Architecture.
